When I say this dress is perfection, I am 100% not kidding. From the delicate lace, to the bright color, to the adorable cut out in the back, I am in LOVE with this dress. For one, it is so comfortable and easy to wear making it perfect for a Valentine's night out with your significant other. I paired it with nude heels and a gold cross body bag. I went light on the accessories because the dress is stunning enough on its own. If pink isn't your thing, this dress comes in 10 (YES TEN) other colors. This dress is also super versatile because it can be worn time and time again with its classic fit and flare shape. Think of all the spring and summer weddings you have coming up! I love the blush trend for spring! I think it is so fresh and pretty! I also love wrap vests & jackets so this stunning blush vest was a perfect addition to my wardrobe. I loved pairing it with maroon because think the colors compliment each other so well. Of course blush pairs well with black and white as well. By the way, this sparkly bib necklace is on sale for $40 & is absolutely gorgeous. 

I'm heading home again this weekend but kinda sad because it's supposed to snow here in Birmingham Friday night. I hope it snows again this year even if its just a little bit!

Winter can be so drab sometimes. With grey skies and cold weather, we can sometimes fall into that trap of only wanting to wear blacks and greys and there's definitely nothing wrong with that, but sometimes I like to brighten it up a bit! A Gorgeous Winter Red Coat

My favorite color to wear is red, so naturally when I saw this coat, I fell in love. I've always been drawn to this color. One of my prom dresses and pageant dresses from high school was a bold red and it was my favorite dress I've ever worn! I feel that red is such a power color... like it demands attention and stands out. I mean, didn't Taylor Swift name one of her albums Red?!  In addition to the color of this coat, I love that it's a little bit longer to keep me warm on my walk to class every morning plus the fur hood is detachable (although I think the fur is cute and I don't plan on taking it off). If you aren't loving the red like me, it also comes in a gorgeous ivory as well as black and olive.

PS. We had to buy scrubs last week for anatomy lab & I bought red! But the grey's anatomy blue color came in a close second (lol). I will be wearing my scrubs tomorrow for my first dissection lab with real cadavers so send a silent prayer my way around 3 pm CST.

A Perfect Poncho for Winter

The weather finally cooled off and this poncho is the first thing I grabbed! Its perfect for an added layer of warmth. You know when its too hot to wear a jacket, but too cold to just wear one layer, well this poncho is the answer. It also comes in black and a cream color plus its 40% off! Casual Winter Rainy Day Look

Santa brought me a pair of red Hunter rain boots that I have been wanting for a few years. They are super comfortable & will add a pop of color to any outfit on a rainy day. I think the red will be a perfect color for year round wear, but I just discovered these bright pink ones on the Hunter website & fell in love. How cute would they be for spring?! PS. I found a size 7 in this exact red color on sale at Gilt! They have UK sizing, so a size 5 on Gilt is a US size 7. They're on sale for $119. I also found a black, raspberry, & navy pair on sale here!

My favorite tunic is still on sale & in stock. This is probably my fifth blog post wearing this tunic. It's definitely a must have. Also, my scarf is 50% off plus an extra 20% off with the code NEWYEAR.
